British No.36 Grenade, commonly called the Mills Bomb after the designer of the first version in 1915. The No.36 was the last in a series of improved models and was introduced in 1917. This fragmentation grenade was used in WW1 and WW2 and stayed in service with the British Army until 1972, with some units still retaining stocks into the 1980s.
