A series of 8 stunning images of evening light over the spectacular beaches of West Harris, on the island of Eilean Siar in the Western Isles or Outer Hebrides off North West Scotland. The images were all taken in late evening in April at an approximate latitude of 58 Degrees North, where the angle of Northern sun at close proximity to the Arctic Circle gives an unusual and dramatic colour spectrum to the images. This first image is looking south west towards Scarasta and the headland of Ceapabhal in Gallic or Toe Head in English, overthe sparsely populated settlements of Borve and Scarastavore.
