Usually canada goose just
High Resolution JPEG Picture of Usually, a Canada goose just has to move a yard or two off the water and onto the shore in order for a male mute swan to consider itself the victor. Occasionally, the swan will waddle onto the shore and continue the pursuit there. If the goose just doesn't get the hint, then in a whooping of wings and a splashing of feet, the cob will take off and continue its pursuit in the air. The odd thing is that other Canada geese can swim close by and be ignored. Once he has fixed his target, the male swan is relentless. Any swan with raised wings is in aggressive mood. When swimming, the bow wave at the front shows that the bird is travelling at speed.
