High Resolution JPEG Picture of colourful carvings above a temple in this huge palace and grounds that was built by King Yaduraya inside the Old Fort in Mysore in the 14th century, its been demolished and reconstructed many times. the Maharaja of Mysore Ra jarshi Sri Sir Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV, commissioned the British architect Lord Henry Irwin to build a new palace to replace the old one which had been turned into ashes by fire. Meanwhile, the royal family stayed in t,he nearby Jaganmohan Palace. Construction of this palace was completed in 1912, in 1940 additional structures and a new hall were constructed.only the taj mahal attracts more tourists than this palace [532486035] stock photo
