Juvenile Bonobo (Pan paniscus) playing in the bamboo forest. The Bonobo is one of the great apes (as well es Gorilla, Chimpanzee and Orang Utan). In former times Bonobos were also called pygmy chimpanzee. The only place where Bonobos could be found is the Tropical Rainforest in the Congo Basinof the Democratic Republic of the Congo, south of the Congor River.
