The Monti district is a popular and multi-ethnic quarter much loved by the younger generations and tourists for the presence of trendy pubs, fashion shops and restaurants, where you can find the true soul of the Eternal City. Located between the Esquiline Hill and the Roman Forum, the Monti district is also rich in numerous Baroque-style churches and archaeological remains from the Roman era. The Esquiline district, once one of the most exclusive in the city, has gradually converted into a more popular and multi-ethnic district.
