Looking up and along the Leaderfoot Viaduct, that spans the River Tweed, near Melrose in the Scottish Borders. The tall, perfectly built Victorian arches rise up from the river and grassy area below, to a height of 38 metres. Metal railings run along the top of the bridge, where a railway track used to run. The red sandstone stands out in the bright morning sun, defining the brickwork that makes up the curve of the arches. New green leaves cover the woodland trees on the other side of the river.
